Dies are from Creative Expressions and we still have some Christmas dies left that are part of the product of the month so 15% off, great time to grab a bargain.
Kerry runs her Christmas class twice a month on a Wednesday and repeated on a Saturday. Its a great way to get ahead start on this years cards and get them done before the rush kicks in.
Back tomorrow with a card from my Card & Cuppa class.
Wasn’t sure which card to post today, but considering the weather this card is very appropriate !!
I had a few die cuts left over from my class preparations from this lovely Sue Wilson set called Snowflake Lace Frame. So I spent some time making up a few more cards to hopefully give you some extra ideas if you have brought this set.
I have used a stitched Hexagonal die from my own stash as I don’t have the Sue Wilson ones. I made an aperture in the middle of the snowflake using the smaller hexagonal dies that come in the set . I added some acetate to make the window and I added some chunky glitter to the middle to create the shaker effect. You could use the Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer Jewels we have in the shop
The sentiment is from Woodware and is called Heartfelt Christmas. I used a little bit of Blue pearl card for he background in the middle and the snowflake. The mirror card is from Hunkydory.
Very quick and easy to make, back tomorrow with some more ideas. Stay warm today and hopefully you can spend the day finishing off your own Christmas cards.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Today’s card uses a new release die from Sue Wilson and I wanted to use it for a Christmas card before I teamed it up with other dies from this release.
The die is the stitched hills and I have cut them out of White cardstock and arranged them to look like drifts. They stitch on both sides of the cut so you have different options for laying them down. The lamppost is from Cardio and is called Vintage Lanterns . It’s been stamped in BlackVersafine and then I used Versacolour Orange, Marigold and Green for the lights and the Ivy. The sentiment comes in the stamp set and the Deer dies are from Nellie Snellen.
I finished off with some Diamond Stickles and the card is a 7″x 5″
Don’t forget the sale is still on in the shop and online. Today until end of the month it’s 33% off all stock .
It was great to see everyone in the shop today filling their baskets with all those amazing bargains at 50% off. Don’t worry if you couldn’t make it today, tomorrow there is still 40% off everything. From Monday its 33% off everything until the end of November. Then for the whole of December its 50% off selected items and 25% off everything else. If you can’t get to the shop, the discounts still apply online as well.
My card today uses the Marianne Twigs and Twine stamp and die set. It’s from my Winter Frost class. This is a fabulous set of stamps and co-ordinating dies which a lot of could be used all year not just Christmas. I have used a selection of different cardstocks, White mirror card and Silver glitter card to cut two leaf dies from. The Green spruce type stamps have been embossed with Glamous Green Wow embossing powder and the used the die to cut them out. The Red berries have been stamped in Versacolour Cardinal ink and then covered and heated with Wow clear embossing powder and again cut using the matching die.
The sentiment is from Creative Expressions Santa Sentiments and I drew around the inside of a roll of double sided type with a pencil to make a circle to guide me where to place the foliage. The bow is from Creative Expressions and is called Itty Bitty, it’s a lovely cute little bow and so handy for all year projects.
Have a fabulous weekend, hopefully we will see lots of you in the shop tomorrow.
Good evening, tonight’s card is from a class I did a little while ago called Winter Frost. On this card we used a Stag die from Marianne . We created a Pixie Powder background using Silver Dream and Aqua Lagoon on watercolour card. The Oval has been cut out using the Press Cut Oval stitched die set . The sentiment is from Marianne Christmas Song and the “Christmas” has been stamped on mirror card with Black Stazon ink. The We Wish…. has been stamped in Versamark ink and embossed with Wow White Embossing Powder. The seal and leaf stamp and die are in a Marianne Twigs and Twine stamp/die set (more on that tomorrow) and has been embossed with Wow Black Twinkle powder. The background has been created using a Creative Expressions embossing folder called Shimmering Stars.
Hopefully you would have seen the facebook and email announcement about our sale starting tomorrow. Fabulous bargains to be had right through to Christmas .
This is the last card we made on my recent Press to Impress class. The pointsettia stamp is from Jusrite and comes with different size flowers and leaves as well as some sentiments. I only used one flower for this card and it was stamped with Red Magic, Pink Grapefruit, Spainish Olive and Thatched Straw VersaMagic ink pads. The veins have been stamped with Archival Coffee. The frame is from Creative Expressions and is called Holly Lattice Frame . I have cut it out of Gold Hunkdory mirror card and the inner frame is done with Black card. The sentiment comes in the Pointsettia set.
Back tomorrow with some more ideas. Keep an eye out for emails and Facebook for info about some upcoming sales online and in the shop starting on Black Friday.
Todays cards uses the Press to Impress tool which is still Product of the Month and has a fabulous discount of 15% until the end of the November and the new Marianne Holly layering stamp. This is ideal for some quick and easy cards and using the stamping tool means you can stamp each layer on numerous pre cut cardstock and then repeat with each stamp in the set. I used Versacolour inks in Lime, Green Tea, Fresh Green and Evergreen. Four different shades of Green to build the image up. Then finally some Cardinal for the berries. I said the Christmas Song stamp set would be back, in this card I have just stamped directly onto the card and added an additional We wish you …..which is also included in the stamp set.
To finish it’s simply matted onto some Black cardstock and I added some Glossy Accents to the berries and left it overnight to dry.
Tomorrow I have another layering stamp from Justrite
The card I’m sharing today is from my recent Product of the Month class which in November is the Press to Impress stamping tool. I have used Distress oxides in Wilted Violet, Broken China and Cracked Pistachio to create the background. Then I have used Phil Martin Snowflake Frame to stamp over it. This stamp is rubber not polymer so I took the foam mat out of the tool and then stamped in Black ink the image over the oxide background. Next I stamped the Wishes stamp using the stamping tool again to get it exactly where I wanted it. I die cut some Sweet Dixie Snowflakes from glitter card and added them to my card with some foam pads. The Christmas word is from a new stamp and die set from Marianne( you will be seeing a lot of this over next few posts , I love it !!!) called Christmas Song . It was stamped in Black ink and die cut out and attached with foam pads .
Back tomorrow with some more samples, have a great Sunday
My card today is another from a recent Wow embossing powder class. I have used the Woodware Snowflake stamp which has been embossed with Wow Royal Crush powder. The image has been simply matted onto some mirror and black card. The sentiment is from another Woodware set called A Heartfelt Christmas. The snowflake is just a die from Sue Wilson Festive Lace Snowflake Frame set, cut out of some mirror card.
To finish I added a little black pearl in the centre of the snowflake.
Back tomorrow with another card using Wow embossing powder.
Hope you had a lovely weekend and were able to squeeze in a bit of crafting. Todays card is from my recent Wow embossing powder class. The stamp is from Woodware and is called Doodle Holly and I think its one of my favourites from them this year, lots you can do with it . I absolutely love the Sparking Snow embossing powder, I used it last year and thankfully its still available this year.
The Holly stamp has been inked with Versamark ink onto some Kraft colour cardstock and then Sparkling Snow embossing powder sprinkle on top and heated. I then cut the image out and using Distress Oxide Walnut Stain ink and a fine tip water brush I coloured the leaves in. The Holly area of the stamp was then inked again with Versamark and stamped onto some Brunswick Green Foundation card and sprinkled with Sparkling Snow embossing powder and heated. I then cut out the Holly leaves and attached them with foam pads to the previous cut out piece matching up the image carefully. The background White piece of card was coloured with some Creative Expressions Cloud ink in Frosted Mink just slightly bigger than the stamp size. I then inked up the whole Doodle Holly stamp with the Distress Oxide Walnut Stain ink pad and stamped the image on my card, that way it gives me the twine/stem pattern on the top. Next I took one of the Woodware greeting stamps from the set called Christmas Cheer and using the Walnut stain ink I inked up my stamp and stamped off on some copy paper before stamping on my White card. I wanted the text to be subtle in the background. I stamped it a few times around and off the cardstock. I then attached the stamped piece onto the card matching up the image again and I made some berries with Creative Expressions Red PVA glue. These I made the night before and left to dry completely on a spare piece of heat resistant mat. Finally, the sentiment which comes in the Holly stamp set was inked and embossed as before onto some Brown cardstock and attached at the bottom. I did mat it onto some more Kraft card and the card size is 7″x 5″.
Hope you like it, back tomorrow with another Wow embossed card.
