Last week I did a class making cards for children. I haven’t done one like that for years and I had a great time making them, perhaps it’s because I’m a nanny now or just a big kid at heart lol.
Today’s card uses the Panda stamp from Woodware. It’s a long thin stamp and it features several Pandas in a line in different positions. I wanted to break the line up and show it doesn’t have to be used like it’s shown.
I took the single Panda, stamped with Versafine ink on watercolour card and cut it out. I then stamped the pair of Pandas , cut them out and around their bodies so I ended up with 2 separate Pandas. These were then attached to my precut mat of watercolour card with foam pads leaving a gap in between and I attached the single Panda in the middle with foam pads again so it looks like they are peeking out behind. I then used the new Graphmaster Aqua pens to watercolour a background and a little grey on the Pandas themselves. I think it’s suitable for girls or boys and I finished with some paper from.
