The last of Kerrys cards this morning from her Christmas club. Paper piecing is a great way to use up all those scraps. I did occur to me that not everyone might know what paper piecing is. You take your stamp in this case the snowman and stamp in on your base layer of cardstock. Next you stamp again onto different colour cardstock scraps and cut out the elements you want to stick back on the original image . So in Kerrys case she stamped onto green card the scarf, cut it out and then did the same again in red card and cut out another part. You can choose to stick flat or add some foam pads. A little colouring around the edges with either pens or pencils adds some dimension and you can add glitter or Stickles for a little essential twinkle on your cards. This stamp is Woodware again and it’s finished off with a fine liner pen to create some stitching.
Have a great Sunday and hopefully you will fit in some crafting. Back tomorrow with the start of my John Lockwood cards from last weeks class
