Mask Technique class part 1

Todays card is the first of three post using the same Nellie Snellen Swirls mask. I recently run a class that included the mask in the price so everyone got to keep the mask to play with at home. I did different techniques for each card.

First up, simply using Distress Inks to blend through the mask. I had already decided on my fairy stamp from Nellie Snellen so I picked some pretty colours of ink to use. They were Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade and Cracked Pistachio. I just picked up one colour at a time and randomly sponged through the colour in different areas, blending and overlapping as I went.

I used some circle dies to mat and layer and then created an aperture to sponge through for where the Fairy was going. The sentiment is from John Next Door Everyday sentiments. I added some essential twinkle with a glue pen and some Glamour Dust glitter.

Tomorrows card uses Wow embossing powder.
