The cards today are from my class last week. The idea was to make some quick and easy cards that could be mass produced if you have a lot to make this Christmas.
First one uses a Sue Wilson die from this years release called Lace Snowflake. I die cut the middle hexagon in Foundations Blue pearl cardstock and then added the snowflake die in the middle of the other hexagon to sit on top. Finished off with a little gem in the middle and a sentiment from Woodware A Heartfelt Christmas stamp set.
The second card for today uses the Woodware Classic Baubles stamp set and has been just stamped in Gold pigment ink and then the sentiment from the new Woodware set A Christmas Cheer stamped on top in Black ink. A stamping tool is brilliant for this large stamp. Cut all your card to size, ink and stamp all of them in Gold, change stamp to the sentiment one and position where you want it. Ink in Black then stamp all of them again. You will end up it a lot of card fronts done in no time at all. I finished off by adding some Black pearls from Mark Richards in the centres and matted on Black card. You could of course do different colours and change it up if you have more time by stamping in Black ink and cutting out the baubles from some other cardstock ( I used Foundations Gold Pearl) then paper piecing them back on. You could do flat if you are worried about postage or on foam pads as I have done. Stamping and embossing with some Wow powders would look gorgeous as well.
That’s all for today, will pop back tomorrow with the other card I made for this class.
